Community Action Network at St. Paul's

The Community Action Network is a group of Civic Organizations and civic-minded individuals working to end hunger and reduce poverty in Newport News and Hampton.

"Every soul has its worth,

St. Paul's saw my worth and has been a Blessing to me."

- Curtis Washington

Changing lives, one individual at a time

The Community Action Network at St. Paul's combines traditional Ministries, such as feeding programs, clothing and laundry, with counseling, job training, transportation, financial counseling, and employment services to forge a new way forward. This approach seeks to empower those in need to lift themselves out of poverty with the assistance of the community around them.

The Community Action Network has services each day of the week for those in need:

A Safe Place: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Laundry: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Clothing Locker: Monday & Thursday mornings, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Miracles on 34th Street AA Meetings: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Good Fridays Dinner: Friday, 5:00 PM
Community Lunch: Saturday, Noon
Bible Study & Breakfast: Sunday, 9:15 AM & Monday, 7:00 AM
